GST Certificate
Overview
GST registration makes your business a registered person under the GST law. Only a registered person may charge GST and issue a tax invoice, and only a registered person may claim credit for the GST paid on purchases.
It becomes mandatory on crossing the turnover threshold for your state and activity, and independently of turnover in several situations — inter-state supply, e-commerce selling, and specified categories. Most corporate buyers, marketplaces and government departments will not onboard an unregistered supplier at all, because they cannot claim credit on what you invoice.
Input tax credit is usually the real economics. Without registration the GST on everything you buy is a cost; with it, it is set off against what you collect. We handle the registration, get the place of business and business-activity details right so it is not queried, and can run the monthly and annual returns afterwards.
